Entering the circuit of 2 366 MW power plants in the industrial sector in the summer of 2022 / Industrial power plant projects in 7 provinces of Iran are in the implementation stage

Executor of the construction project of 10,000 MW power plant by industries, referring to the entry into operation of two units of 366 MW power plants in the summer of this year, announced a 57% progress in the development of industrial power plant projects in seven provinces of the country.

“Seyed Zaman Hosseini” in an interview with the information base of the Ministry of Energy (Pawn), regarding the details of the progress of the construction project of 10,000 MW power plant by the Mining Industries Department, said: Permits for environment, fuel, passive defense, water supply, network connection plan, etc. For the construction of at least 10,000 MW of new capacity of the mining power plant in 14 construction sites in the country, appropriate progress has been made.

 

The report adds that on October 10, last year, a memorandum of understanding for the construction of at least 10,000 megawatts of new power plant capacity was exchanged between the Ministry of Energy and Silence through industry. This sector is invested by industrial and mining investors in the country, which includes steel, copper and aluminum industries.

Accordingly, the plan is to build a 10,000 MW power plant by the private sector in 14 projects with the aim of providing sustainable electricity for these mining industries; In other words, industries can supply their own electricity.
